The German Fog Company started operating in 1833. The main field of activity of this company is the production of various bearings for different uses, especially heavy vehicles (trucks, etc.).

The company was acquired in 2001 by the schaeffler Group, and in fact the two names now represent one brand.

In 2007 the company’s factories expanded to India, China and Hungary.
